In May of 1493 one of the most wondrous books of all time was published.  Authored by Hartmann Schedel, who was a medical doctor and collector of books, the work contains 1809 woodcuts printed from 645 woodblocks.  The Nuremberg Chronicle was thus an illustrated encyclopedia containing historical accounts of diverse people and places and is counted as one of the first printed works to integrate text and illustration.  The 5x7 card is blank inside and comes with an accompanying envelope - shipping is free.
