The Floral Magazine: Verbenas- TFM 011

$5.99

James Andrews was a nineteenth century English botanical artist who contributed to many botanical publications including books such as Trees, Plants, and Flowers: Their Beauties, Uses, and Influences, Flora's Gems, Ornamental Foliated Plants, and The Illustrated Bouquet.  In addition, Andrews also taught flower painting to young ladies.  Andrews has been overlooked as one of the better botanical artists of his time due to the fact that the majority of his work appeared in non- scientific illustrated publications.  We are happy to present a selection of Andrew’s work from the periodical The Floral Magazine published between 1861 and 1868.  The 5x7 card is blank inside and comes with an accompanying envelope - shipping is free.
